Short Escapes – My Way of Relaxing
After a week full of work and repetitiveness there is nothing better for me than a weekend trip. Seeing new people, discovering new places, and tasting new food makes me forget about my routine and inspires me for the future work. Last weekend I visited my friend in London. Charged with positive energy, I easily came back to my day-to-day tasks and can enjoy them again.

It was a lazy London weekend on purpose, so I could catch up with my friend. On Saturday, we took a stroll in the rain at the Neal’s Yard – it could have not been different in London and tried delicious vegan food at Wild Food Cafe. If you are vegan or like to experiment with food I really recommend this place. The evening ended with some life performances and drinks in the local pub.

Sunday was sunny – we had brunch and took a walk in Leytonstone. At the airport on my way back I grabbed the newest issue Harper’s Bazaar, some chocolates for my friends back home and I treated myself with a new perfume Flora by Gucci.
Short escapes abroad do not have to be expensive: Ryanair offers now very cheap flights to many European cities. If you book in advance you can travel for under 20 EUR.
