Healthy Smoothie Ideas for Summer

Why I love smoothies? Because they are perfect meals for breakfast or lunch that you can also take away with you. I like to pack them with as many nutrition ingredients, vitamins and minerals into one drink as possible. I always try to increase nutritional benefits by adding some superfoods like chia, kale or ginger. The recipe for a perfect smoothie is super simple. All you need to do is to add all the ingredients into a blender and blend it until they become creamy. In the summer I tend to add ice to cool me down.  Today I am presenting my 3 favorite smoothie recipes which are perfect for the upcoming summer season. They are perfect for a small detox and will help you to nourish your body.

 Green Power:

  • 1 cup Pineapple
  • 2 cups Spinach
  • ½ cup Grapes
  • 1½ cup Orange Juice
  • 1 Banana
  • Ice (Optional)

Sunny Mango:

  • 1 cup Mangos
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 cup Orange Juice
  • ¼ teaspoon Ginger
  • Ice (Optional)

Choco Smoothie:

  • 1 cup Milk (try out to add coconut milk)
  • 1 Espresso
  • 1 Banana
  • 1 Tablespoon Almond Butter
  • Ice (Optional)

Forest Fruit :

  • 1 cup Almond Milk
  • 1 cup Greek Yogurt
  • 1 cup (Frozen) Raspberries or Blueberries
  • 1 cup (Frozen) Strawberries
